On my isle
i've been struggling with proportions lately.
so it's literally "back to the drawing board" for me....

On taking photos
i pretty much always carry a camera with me,
and sometimes i wonder what is it that i love so much
about taking photos?
is it the memories, the result, the action itself?
and then the other day Britta unknowingly answered my question by asking me
with great passion:
"don't you LOVE looking at something and wondering how best
you're going to frame it with your camera?"
YES, i do!
that is what i love so much about photography!
how to frame, capture and translate
that little magic moment in time.

Poem
I Worried
by Mary Oliver
I worried a lot. Will the garden grow, will the rivers
flow in the right direction, will the earth turn
as it was taught, and if not, how shall
I correct it?
Was I right, was I wrong, will I be forgiven,
can I do better?
Will I ever be able to sing, even the sparrows
can do it and I am, well,
hopeless.
Is my eyesight fading or am I just imagining it,
am I going to get rheumatism,
lockjaw, dementia?
Finally I saw that worrying had come to nothing.
And gave it up. And took my old body
and went out into the morning,
and sang.
