In love

while in Namibia we went to Spitzkoppe

and i was smitten...

this group of bald granite peaks stick out in the middle of 

the flat surrounding land. 

at first it seemed really stark and 

arid, 

but once we started exploring 

the plants were 

plenty, unusual and unique.

i completely fell in love with this tree, 

 a Cyphostemma currorii

or "butter tree".

it is all chubby and cute and odd...
