this last week art section in Full Circle workshop was
about Folk Art or Art of the People.
one of the assignment
was to make a "Folk Art figure".
keeping some of the Folk Art characteristics in mind:
-naive, exaggerated, bold, childlike, patriotic, decorative, familiar-
i gave it a go...
here is the evolution of my "foxy" attempt:
acrylics on cut cardboard
and then i started adding the "Folky" details
and done, very pleased with my Folky Fox!

ReplyDeleteOh wow Anne - that is really beautiful! Makes me want to do one too!! It would look really good in a children's book. I think you should make up a funky folky fox story.
