Owls

Last night I came face to face with the most magnificent owl.

He stared me down with his yellow eyes and seemed to be looking straight through me.

I have a great fascination with owls, with birds in general actually.

Autumn

Even though I have been living in the southern hemisphere for 9 years my body still gets confused with spring time in October?!

Today it is rainy and cold here and I decided to share some autumn colors, just to add to the confusion.

Visitors

Had some visitors on Sunday evening!

After munching most of my spring flower buds

they went looking for water :-)

Living at the coast I have had to get used to rust. I have even grown to like it...
