they are called Giant Stapelia
are indigenous to South Africa
& are used in traditional medicine to treat hysteria
but also as a poison.
every year when they flower i cannot believe
what a miracle they are!

not sure i'll able to use them,

Letting go
yesterday i got all attached to my
sketches...
didn't want to mess up my "pretty, pretty"
sketchbook.
so i challenged myself to do blind drawings
& one-line drawings
it turned out to be a very refreshing,
letting go experience!
