Inspiration
i have started
Alisa Burke
's Sketchbook Delight Online class!
it is inspiring me to get in my studio and climb
back into the creative wagon :)
getting familiar with my tools for now
Nest
i am trying to find my bearings
back home...
feeling a little ungrounded,
needing to nest, organize and
clean.
i could easily hide away in one of these
for a few days until i find my feet again...
(photos from the net - i apologize but i can't remember where from)
Season's change
we've moved back to the thick of summer...
adjusting slowly!
i'm so glad these hyacinths gave us
a little taste of spring before we left...
the illusion of a transition
when in fact we went from one extreme
to the other!
Treats
With the "boulangerie" across the road
we've been so spoilt with fresh, warm
bread every morning...
and the best home made raspberry jam on top...
(merci maman!)
What a treat!
Alps' inspiration
Exploring
Life in the Alps has been busy, busy...
We have been skiing, visiting and exploring.
Reading
i always feel a pang of nostalgia when leaving the african continent...
luckily just before i left i had a good dose of african stories while devouring the third book of the "Langani Trilogy"
by
Barbara & Stephanie Keating
an incredible tale of Africa's rawness, dilemmas and beauty.
"Savage stars pit the night
And I walk in borrowed light
To seek, to feel, to fly..."
T. Ryan
