while in the Eastern Cape area
we went to Birds of Eden
the largest free flight bird aviary in the world.
an impressive structure and forest developed as a
sanctuary for pet and zoo birds
who are being rehabilitated to a"wilder" environment.

what an experience!
we were able to bird watch for hours
and of course to take hundreds of photos
which i will share with you in the next few days.
a festival of colors!
