finished?

this painting has been through many transformations,

oils on board  

i am saying it again, i love painting on board. 

it allows for layers and layers 

but mostly scratching, 

scratching is my favorite part! 

hopefully you can see some of the scratching details below

i find that it adds a lot of depth and interesting textures to the painting. 

i think it is finished. 

again i will live with it for a little while and see how i feel. 

i took this photo at our entrance and it happens to fit perfectly there!
