book binding

i'm making progress with my Giacometti homage book

after cutting, painting and preparing the cover and the pages

i did some hand sewing 

for book binding.

last year i brought back this old Alberto Giacometti book 

my Grand Mother gave me

that's where i got the color palette inspiration from 

i'm still deciding whether to add a spine or not

and then i can start filling it...
